Re: The homework assignment in which the student had to assume the role of a Chinese immigrant. The person actually did the assignment hahah. I work with a guy that speaks Chinese, so he translated it for me. It's something like: "Things are rough here but we're making it by. We're learning English slowly and not very good at it yet. About 10 people per day get injured but nothing fatal. We're keeping healthy. We miss you." Stuff like that hahah
